Inquiry into Introduction of Mobile Number Portability
Further to the Public Consultation Notice published in the Post Courier on October 7 and 14, 2016, NICTA hereby reminds stakeholders in the ICT industry and the general public of the ongoing Public Inquiry into the potential introduction of Mobile Number Portability in PNG, and invites comments and submissions on the Consultation and Discussion Papers that were released on October 7, 2016.
All written submissions should be submitted by email to: consultation.submission@nicta.gov.pg before close of business on February 3, 2017.
Copies of the submissions received will be published on NICTA’s Public Register consistent with the requirements under Subsection 229(3) of the NICT Act 2009. Any respondent that wishes to claim confidentiality over information that it submits should follow the procedures set out in the current Guidelines on the submission of written comments to public consultations and public inquiries, which are also available from NICTA’s Public Register at www.nicta.gov.pg
The Consultation and Discussion Papers on the subject matter can be obtained from the NICTA Head Office located at Section 34, Lot 19 &20 Frangipani Street, Hohola, Port Moresby or downloaded from the NICTA Public Register.
