The National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) is a government agency responsible for the regulation and licensing of Information Communication Technology (ICT) Services & Equipment in Papua New Guinea.

Contact forms

This site uses contact forms for the purpose of communicating directly with  the industry, key stakeholders, consumers and the general public.

Cookies

Our site uses a security application (plugin) for the purposes of providing security protection to our website. Therefore, all visitors to this site will have several cookies setup which may contain your IP Address, your country, URL links within the site that you visited or tried to visit and other analytics data.

For visitors who use our ‘contact form’, information such as your ‘name’, ‘e-mail address’ and ‘message’ will only be sent to the appropriate NICTA employee(s) based on your selected recipient.

How long we retain your data

Data submitted through our ‘contact form’ will be stored for an indefinite period if time, as we may be required to refer back to it, when dealing with your issues, and other similar issues that maybe submitted overtime.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left any data through use of our ‘contact form’, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor data submitted through the ‘contact form’ may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
