Consultation Paper (Discussion Paper):

The National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) has fulfilled the relevant requirements of the National Information and Communications Technology act 2009 (the Act) in relation to plans for the delivery of Universal and Access Services in 2019.

NICTA is seeking the comments and views of interested parties and members of the public on the following document that is available on the NICTA website from today (Monday, 22 October 2018).

NICTA will also be pleased to receive written submissions and comments on this document and the issues that are associated with Universal and Access Services delivery and funding covered in the period on or before the deadline of Monday, November 5, 2018.

All written submissions to be submitted by email to by close of business Monday, November 5, 2018. Copies of submissions received will be published on NICTA’s Public Register consistent with the requirements under subsection 299(3) of the Act.
