Operator Class Licensees List
The Individual Operator Licenses issued maybe of the following types:
- Network Operator Class Licence
- Facility rights: in relation to private use of all facilities
- Network services: in relation to the supply for private use of all network services
- Applications Operator Class Licence
- Applications service – in relation to private use of one or more of PSTN telephony, public switched data and public cellular services as a community service within a closed user group
- Applications service – in relation to private use of one or more of internet access, IP telephony, directory, messaging, audiotext hosting, public payphone or other non-exempt applications services
- Content Operator Class Licence
- Content service: in relation to TV or radio broadcast services as a narrowcasting service within a closed user group
- Content service: in relation to TV or radio broadcast services as a community service within a closed user group
Network Licensees List
This Licence entitles the Licensee to:
- Exercise facilities rights in relation to the facilities listed in Table A of Schedule 1 in the NICTA (Operator-Licensing) Regulation, excluding international gateway services.
- Supply any of the Network Services listed in Table A of Schedule 1 in the NICTA (Operator-Licensing) Regulation, excluding international gateway services.
Network Gateway Licensees List
This Licence entitles the Licensee to:
- Exercise facilities rights in relation to International Gateway
- Supply network services that are International Gateway Services
Content Licensees list
For the purpose of supplying television or radio broadcasting services. It allows for supply of narrow cast services, supplying content intended for restricted number of viewers or listeners.
Application Licensees List
For the purpose of supplying to the public certain communication services using a network service.
International Connectivity, PSTN telephony services, Public Switched Data services, Public Cellular services, IP telephony services, Internet Access services, Directory services, Messaging services, Audio Text/Text Hosting services and Public Payphone services.
