Section 1: Coverage Maps
Coverage Maps – See Where You Get the Best Signal
Check signal strength and coverage for Digicel, Vodafone, and Telikom PNG in your province, district or suburb.
What you can do:
- View interactive maps
- View Coverage by technology (2G/3G/4G)
- Search by location

Price Comparator – Find the Best Plan for You
Compare current mobile and internet plans from Digicel, Vodafone, Telikom PNG and other providers.
What you can do:
- Filter by data allowance, call minutes, SMS, price range
- See monthly cost, validity, bonus offers
- View Critical Information Summary (CIS) links
- Sort by cheapest, most data, best value

Helpful Tip: Always ask for the free Critical Information Summary (CIS) before signing up — it’s your right under the Draft Consumer Protection Rule!

Section 3: Type Approval – Warning List
Type Approval – Avoid Unsafe or Illegal Devices Only use mobile phones, modems, routers, and other telecom devices that are type-approved by NICTA. Unapproved devices can be dangerous (radiation risks), interfere with networks, or be illegal to use.

- Devices known to be uncertified, counterfeit, or dangerous

Quick Check: Look for the NICTA Type Approval label or certificate on the device/box.
Section 4: Licensed Service Providers
Licensed Service Providers – Who is Allowed to Operate
Only companies with a valid NICTA licence can legally provide mobile, internet, satellite, or other telecom services in PNG.
