Public Notice
The National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) in accordance with Section 219 of the National Information and Communications Technology Act 2009 (the Act) is engaging in public consultation in accordance with Section 229 of the Act in relation to the draft Rule on Telecommunications Quality of Service with regards to mobile telephony and broadband internet access services.
A copy of the consultation paper for the purposes of the public consultation is available on NICTA’s website (www.nicta.gov.pg) .The paper considers all of the Quality of Service criteria and parameters to be monitored that is proposed will be included in the Rule. The public consultation shall commence from today Tuesday, 17 September 2019 and end by Close of Business on Tuesday 15 October 2019, the deadline for submissions. Information on how interested parties may make submissions on the proposed Rule is contained in the public discussion paper.
