Category: Acts
In the regulatory hierarchy, an Act is the highest level of authority. It is the foundation upon which all other instruments (Rules, Determinations, and Guidelines) are built.
An Act is a piece of primary legislation passed by a national parliament or legislative body. It establishes the “broad strokes” of the law and creates the legal existence of the regulator itself.
